Humboldt Junior High School provides young people with the tools, knowledge and skills they need to succeed in senior high school and beyond.

Our school's tradition stretches back to 1889, but our vision is fixed firmly on the future. This is reflected not only in our modern, updated campus, but also in our focus on creating a solid foundation for students with an emphasis on strategic reading in every subject area including Title I funding in reading and math and a "Culture of Reading" promoted throughout the school, a "Connected Math Project" curriculum based on national mathematics standards and teachers who team together to work with small learning communities of students to ensure academic success as well as social growth.
